Required:

• Minimum 0.1 Ethereum
• MyEtherWallet
• Government ID for Know Your Customer protocol for ICO’s
• Token Address to send money to – PROVIDED BY NOUVIVE

Step 1: Creating a MyEtherWallet wallet

Start by going to the MyEtherWallet website, and check whether you’ve arrived at the right URL (it should say: https://www.myetherwallet.com/). The first thing you see is Create New Wallet.

Simply fill in a unique password, remember this by heart, and press ‘Create New Wallet’.

Now, save your Keystore File. Click ‘Download Keystore File’, and save the file on a location on your computer or on a USB hard drive for extra security. After you have saved the file (triple-check this!), click the Continue-button.

You should now be presented with your Private Key. Write down your Private Key or print it and create a Paper Wallet. If you want to keep your wallet secure, please take heed of all warnings presented on these pages!

As you can see, there are multiple ways of accessing your wallet, but for clarity’s sake, we’ll go with the Private Key option. Simply fill in your private key and click ‘Unlock’.

Now you get a full overview of your Ethereum Wallet and that’s it! You are now the proud owner of an Ethereum wallet. If you haven’t done so already, write down both your address and private key (in a separate place) or print your paper wallet. And if you want to access your wallet again, go to the MEW website and click on ‘View Wallet Info’ in the top right corner.

Step 2: Purchasing your First ETH

You can purchase ETH from Kraken (As shown above) or can transfer your BTC to ETH (also shown above)

Step 3: Sending ETH to the ICO

Whether you already have a wallet full of cryptocurrency, or you’ve just created one using the first two steps in this article, you are now ready to participate in ICO.

YOU WILL NEED THE TOKEN ADDRESS – THIS WILL BE PROVIDED BY NOUVIVE.

You will need to set how much you want to send as well as the GAS Limit. Gas is how quickly you want the money to go to them. The Average is 50 GAS Price.

FOLLOWING THIS, THE TRANSACTION WILL BE CONFIRMED ON MYETHERWALLET.

Once the ICO has ended, they will be released to your MYEtherWallet and it will be ready to be sold.

Step four – How to retrieve the ICO Tokens:

By example of Vector Space:

Log back into MyEtherWallet

VECTORSPACE (VEC) tokens will be sent immediately to the wallet from which the ETH arrived. To view VECTORSPACE (VEC) tokens in your wallet:

• Go to “Send Ether & Tokens” menu — 
  Select “Private Key” checkbox and paste your private key in “Paste/Type Your Private Key” window. Press “Unlock” button

To finish adding VECTORSPACE (VEC) tokens to your wallet -

• Scroll down to the “Token Balances” box in the lower right hand corner of the same screen as above
• Click “Add Custom Token”
• Enter the VECTORSPACE (VEC)Contract Address: 0x774e672c4e24229805b6813b1eae8a402a747bdb (this is not the crowdsale address you sent ETH to when purchasing tokens)
• Enter the Token Symbol: VEC
• Decimals: 2
• Click “Save” button

These token contract address and symbol will depend on the ICO and will be provided to you by Nouvive
